Alameda, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oakland Raiders re-signed defensive lineman Brian Sanford on Wednesday.

Sanford was waived by the Raiders on Nov. 9 and has appeared in four games, starting one, with seven tackles.

The Temple product spent the previous three seasons as a member of the Cleveland Browns after originally signing with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He has played in nine games over his career, totaling 12 tackles (seven solo).

Oakland has also signed offensive lineman Jack Cornell and linebacker Chris McCoy to their practice squad. Cornell played Sunday against the New York Giants before being waived on Monday.
