Re "Plastic bag ban makes sense for all of California" (Editorials, Nov. 14): Re-usable bags are often the conduit of pollution and are sometimes disease-carrying. They are not washed weekly after every trip to the grocery. Apparently, no editors own pets or pick up after them after they have made their excremental deposits. Scooping cat litter or picking up deposits from your dog's walk is difficult using old Bee copies. Should we receive our fast food at the drive-thru lanes in styrofoam containers or bare hands or paper bags? Paper causes global warming due to deforestation.
