Jim Triggs, executive director with the Saint John's Bible Heritage Program sets up a volume of the The Saint John's Bible Heritage Edition. This is one of 299 fine art editions created from the original handwritten and illustrated bible which resides at Saint John's University, that took more than 15 years to make. In the tradition of great medieval Bibles, The Saint John's Bible is monumental - 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide and 1,100-plus pages organized in seven distinct volumes. All seven Heritage Edition volumes of The Saint John's Bible will be exhibited in Sacramento for the first time at a service Saturday evening at the Cathedral of Blessed Sacrament.
