Fresno group helps with typhoon aidLoading

    Tria Biltz is a Fresno State Student who volunteered to pack clothing and other items to be donated to victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Those hosting the drive are under the umbrella of Filipino Organizations Working for Emergency Relief (POWER). Collections were to be taken from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Filipino-American Community Center, 4315 E. Clinton Ave. Money is being collected, along with things like blankets, clothes, towels, canned food, toiletries, jackets and socks, to be donated to the Philippine Red Cross.
