The Bee posse’s weekly update of the latest in area conditions, bargains, etc.

CourseWhat you need to know
Diamond OaksLady Di shines! Neat and tidy throughout, with greens particularly good
Dry CreekFairways a little bare but in decent early winter shape overall; greens still nice/fast
Empire RanchNothing not to like tee through green, and it’s been that way for a while
La ContentaGreens nice, as usual; have a damp towel because the few ball washers of little use
Land ParkGreens smooth and fast relative to past; rough cut to a playable level; troublesome No. 4 green in excellent shape even after rain; as good as it gets
Lincoln HillsGreens on Hills course in best condition to date this year.
Rancho SolanoConditions great in Fairfield; pace of play often snail-like (five hours plus)
Teal BendGreens rolling true; fairways a little thin; still space in 8 a.m. Thanksgiving shotgun
Whitney OaksFairways turning brown, but ball can still be played down; greens fantastic
WildHawkSeems that we love rating the ’Hawk on a scale of 10 – it gets an 8 this week
WildhorsePace of play exceptional; condition of bunkers varies wildly from hole to hole
Wild WingsGreens practically perfect; fairways rolling out and with tight lies
Yocha DeheFrom first tee atop hill, to private-course conditions, to service with a smile ... wow!
