Kings game plan vs. Oklahoma City

Published: Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 - 6:15 pm

TONIGHT’S GAME

KINGS (4-11) VS. THUNDER (12-3)

Time: 7 p.m.

Where: Sleep Train Arena

TV: CSNCA; Radio: 1140

THREE KEYS

1. Westbrook watch: The Kings don’t have one defender who can slow Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, so it will take a team effort to keep him out of the paint, where he can score or set up star forward Kevin Durant.

2. Don’t hurt yourself: The Kings committed a season-high 24 turnovers and fell behind by double digits in Sunday’s loss to Golden State. Sacramento can’t beat the Thunder if mistakes lead to easy points for Oklahoma City.

3. Rim protector: Serge Ibaka will lurk around the rim to block shots – he has tormented the Kings with his defense in the past. In their past two games, the Kings have seen two shot blockers (DeAndre Jordanand Andrew Bogut) alter the game.
