Isaiah Thomas missed a 14-foot jumper just before the final buzzer that would have forced overtime as the Kings fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 97-95, Tuesday night at Sleep Train Arena. Thomas scored 21 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter as the Kings rallied from down 17 points, but could not overtake the Thunder (13-3). The Kings have lost five games in a row. Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Russell Westbook had 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. The Kings (4-12) played the game without DeMarcus Cousins, who sat out with a sprained right ankle.
