Craft fair at museum

What: The All Nations Native Craft Fair will feature handmade jewelry, basketry and crafts at the Maidu Museum and Historic Site. More than 20 artisans from California tribes and the Cherokee Nation will offer ideas for unique gifts. There will also be tribal drumming, traditional music, singing and children’s activities.

Tour Fab 40s homes

What: Tour five decoraed homes in east Sacramento’s Fabulous Forties neighborhood. Presented by Sacred Heart Parish School, the tour showcases homes that range in style from Tudor to a remodeled plantation residence that was once a duplex. A holiday boutique and cafe is available at the school when completing the tour

Where: Tour route is at the Sacred Heart Parish School, 856 39th St., Sacramento, to 47th Street. Visitors may start at either end for the self-guided walking tour, which will take approximately two hours to complete.

When: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Cost: $30. Children 1 and older must have a ticket.

‘Traditions of the Season’

What: Young performers will be the stars of “Traditions of the Season,” the 42nd annual Holiday Tapestry Christmas Show at Hiram Johnson High School. Performed by Galena Street East, area performers age 4 to 18, the show will feature songs and international folk dances that celebrate the holiday season.
