In memory of sacrifice

In memory of a day 72 years ago that still casts a long shadow in American history, United States Submarine Veterans held a ceremony Saturday in Sacramento’s Discovery Park on the anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

The gathering included the laying of a wreath, a color guard and many veterans, including Tim Spoon, right.
