TONIGHT’S GAME

KINGS (5-13) VS. MAVERICKS (13-8)

Time: 7 p.m.

Where: Sleep Train Arena

TV: CSNCA Radio: 1140

THREE KEYS

1. Player movement: The Kings have done better at moving the ball on offense but they can’t get caught ball watching when one player has the ball. That’s especially important when DeMarcus Cousins has the ball in the post..

2. Improved shooting: The Kings were able to shoot below 42 percent Saturday and still win at Utah. The Kings will need to better to keep up with Dallas, which is one of the better scoring teams in the NBA.

3. Make it tough: Monta Ellis will put a lot of pressure on the Kings’ defense constantly. Defenders can’t shy away from playing physically to try to Ellis from having his way because if the gets into a good rhythm he’s hard to stop.
