Daegis Inc., the Roseville electronic discovery and information-management firm that recently moved its headquarters to Irving, Texas, reported a net loss of $210,000, or a penny per share, in its fiscal second quarter ended Oct. 31.
In the same quarter last year, the company reported net income of $252,000, or a penny a share.
Daegis still oversees an office in Roseville. The company said it will close its San Francisco and New York offices, “while maintaining its bi-coastal presence with the Roseville and Rutherford, N.J. offices.”
Second quarter revenue totaled $7.7 million, compared with $10.3 million in the year-ago period.
“While we had a challenging second quarter from a revenue standpoint, we believe we’ll begin to see our plans translate into growth starting in the second half of the year,” said CEO Tim Bacci.
