Citrus Heights police investigate fatal stabbing

The Citrus Heights Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding someone who stabbed a man to death Tuesday afternoon.

At 4:21 p.m., Citrus Heights police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 7500 block of Auburn Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found a man inside a vehicle, bleeding from an apparent stabbing. The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The identity of the man was not released, but the case is being investigated as a homicide.
