Capitol welcomes the sights and sounds of the holidays

As part of annual Capitol holiday music concerts, Cantare Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Jeff Nelson, performs a variety of Christmas classics including music from the 17th century to contemporary pieces in the Capitol rotunda on Tuesday in Sacramento.

The State Capitol Holiday Music Program offers free performances daily at the Capitol rotunda typically from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. through Dec. 23.

The program is sponsored by the State Capitol Museum and California State Parks in association with the California State Legislature Joint Rules Committee, the Governor’s Office and the Department of General Services.
