Roseville-based payment processor Intrix acquires Michigan company

Roseville-based Intrix Technology Inc., a provider of payment-processing solutions, says it has acquired Merchant Processing USA based in Southfield, Mich.

Merchant specializes in providing credit card and check-processing services to small- and midsize business, including retailers, business-to-business providers and e-commerce companies. Intrix solutions are used by developers, retailers, processors, sales organizations and other businesses.

Financial details of the purchase were not disclosed.

The Merchant portfolio acquisition is the fifth made by Intrix this year. Merchant will become a fully integrated part of Intrix.

“We look forward to welcoming these merchants to the Intrix family,” said Jeffrey Connors, CEO of Intrix.
