Join efforts to help stop sex trafficking

Re "Courageous few step up to aid child, teen victims" (Viewpoints, Ashley Snee Giovannettone, Dec. 8): Today, there are a lot of cases of sex trafficking happening in society around us. It has become a serious issue that needs to be addressed. To help raise awareness, I have participated in events and organizations, such as the Run for Courage and the Women of Worth club at Oak Ridge High School. I hope my efforts will help decrease the number of people who fall victim to the sex trafficking business. By joining together, we can all help make a difference in the lives of the many women, men and children who have had to endure these tragic events.
