TODAY’S GAME

KINGS (6-15) VS. ROCKETS (16-8)

• Time: 3 p.m. •  Where: Sleep Train Arena

• TV: CSNCA •  Radio: 1140

THREE KEYS

1. Bring the points down: The Kings have had their worst defensive showings of the season in their last two games, allowing 122 and 116 points. Houston leads the NBA with 107.7 points per game, so the Kings must be keyed in to have any chance of slowing the Rockets.

2. Hard to cover: Rookie guard Ben McLemore could be in for a long day trying to guard Rockets All-Star James Harden, who gets to the rim, finds open teammates and draws fouls.

3. Hack time: Kings coach Michael Malone will not hesitate to foul Rockets center Dwight Howard to disrupt the Rockets’ offense. However, Howard made all seven of his free-throw attempts in Friday’s win at Golden State.
