A man accused of murder in the death of his 4-month-old nephew has been found incompetent to stand trial and was placed in Napa State Hospital.
Judge John P. Winn ordered the placement Friday on Willis Edward Lilly III, who was arrested in the Jan. 11 death of Demosphesis King.
An autopsy showed the boy died in a residence on Summersdale Drive in the Valley Hi area as a result of blunt force trauma to the head.
Winn in September found Lilly incompetent to stand trial based on mental evaluations of the defendant.
Lilly will be reevaluated in three years to see if his competency has been restored. If it has, prosecutors could then put him on trial.
