Deaths have yet to spark meaningful gun control

Re "A year and 10,000 gun deaths later, Congress fails to act" (Editorials, Dec. 14): Guns have killed children, teens, Congress members and presidents, but nothing has changed. It seems that 10,000 deaths a year is not enough. What will it take for this country to pass a meaningful gun law? Will the number of gun deaths have to climb to 100,000 or even 1 million? Somewhere there has to be a last straw, when Americans say enough is enough concerning gun violence. When will that be?
