GOP health care website unfairly attacked

Re "Assembly GOP sows health care confusion" (Editorials, Dec. 5): Just in case we needed a reminder that bipartisanship is dead in California, the Sacramento Bee has obliged. The editorial regarding Assembly Republicans' informational health care website repeatedly referred to it as fake and demanded its removal. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Republicans' site makes no effort to collect information, sign users up for coverage or even disparage Obamacare. In fact, it links to Covered California, the state's health care enrollment site. The GOP website does not attempt to confuse or deceive users. A spokesperson from Covered California defended the Republicans' site, stating that they don't consider it misleading. Additionally, the site has been live since August and was approved by Assembly Democrats. Is the editorial trying to distract users from the issues surrounding Obamacare's rollout? If so, that's what I call misleading.
