'Duck Dynasty' member suspended for remarks

Re "Duck Dynasty" patriarch ditched" (Names & Faces, Dec. 19): It's not surprising that the A&E channel kicked "Duck Dynasty" patriarch Phil Robertson off the cable reality show indefinitely for personal remarks he made about gays. It's the channel's prerogative to make this type of decision. What's astounding is that A&E allowed "Duck Dynasty" to air in the first place, since each episode ends with the controversial Robertson saying a prayer, or grace, before the family meal. How did the cable executives let him get away with that?
