Re "Baby, it's cold outside...but not in Sacramento" (California Forum, Jack Ohman, Dec. 15): I enjoyed Jack Ohman's column regarding the weather in Sacramento. Back in October 1973, I moved back to Sacramento from Juneau, Alaska, and I also almost snorted when people would complain about the weather. I had lived through the official "coldest day in Juneau" in 1972, which was 55 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. The weather in Sacramento, even in the winter, seems like Shangri-La to me. I guess one has to experience weather in other parts of the country to really appreciate Sacramento's incredible weather.
