Reader blames San Juan trustees for ‘cronyism’

Re "San Juan Unified chief quits" (Page A1, Dec. 20): The recent controversy involving San Juan Unified School District’s former superintendent, Glynn Thompson, highlights the cronyism that characterizes the district’s governing body. The district trustees have repeatedly turned a blind eye to egregious professional misconduct, but maintaining an apathetic status quo is simply not a reasonable option. Every district board member should be ousted.
