So, what’s happened to Grigoriy Bukhantsov? Is there any news regarding the sentence or other update?

Grigoriy Bukhantsov, 21, remains in Sacramento County Jail awaiting trial for the October 2012 slayings of his sister-in-law and two of her children in their Rancho Cordova home.

According to Sacramento Superior Court online records, his next court date is Jan. 10.

Bukhantsov is charged with three counts of murder in the death of 23-year-old Alina Bukhantsov, 3-year-old Emmanuela and 2-year-old Avenir.

Grigoriy Bukhantsov had spent the previous night with his brother Denis and family. Denis Bukhantsov discovered the bodies of his wife and children in their DeSoto Way duplex the afternoon of Oct. 23, 2012. The couple’s youngest child, 6-month-old Mark, also was in the home but was not injured.
