Berg Injury Lawyers and AAA Northern California are again offering safe rides home this year to New Year’s Eve revelers throughout the Sacramento area.

Berg’s “Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home” program, started in 2004, is offering free rides home from bars or restaurants in Sacramento from 10 p.m. Tuesday through 4 a.m. Wednesday. Participants can contact Sacramento’s Yellow Cab Co. at (916) 444-2222 and let the company know you want a ride that will be paid for by Berg.

Patrons should instruct the company/driver to send the taxi receipt to Berg Injury Lawyers. A limit of $35 will be paid on each ride home, and rides will be provided only to participants’ residences. Ride service cannot be guaranteed if requests exceed available cabs.

AAA’s “Tipsy Tow” program will be in effect from 6 p.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday in Northern California. Participants can call (800) 222-4357 for a free tow home, up to ten miles. Participants do not have to be AAA members to use the service.
