Missing Elk Grove woman suffering from Alzheimer’s is found

Elk Grove police said Friday that a missing 82-year-old woman who reportedly suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and is a dialysis patient has been found.

Georgia Reese had last been about 9:45 a.m. Thursday at a medical building at 8139 Elk Grove Boulevard. Reese drove to the location and then left the medical building after she was told that she did not have an appointment Thursday, police said.

Elk Grove police said that Reese was found early Friday and is safe.
