Organize: Every home has one — a junk drawer that becomes the resting place of miscellaneous but necessary stuff. Organization expert Deniece Schofield turned the chaos into a much more efficient (and organized) drawer. This is the drawer after its makeover. “We took all of the contents out of the drawer and discarded anything that was obvious garbage,” she said. “The paperwork was taken out of the drawer and a paperwork handling system (ie. a binder with pockets) was set up to keep the papers out of the junk drawer in the future. The Rolodex was transferred to a digital contact list accessible from phones, tablets, computers, etc.” The remainders were organized with dividers so the drawer contents could be scanned with a glance.
