Published: Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 - 10:00 pm

Richard Hofmann, 77, of Philatelic Enterprises in Alameda, looks over an auction catalog while waiting for customers during the Sacramento Stamp Fair at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center on Sunday. At left, Eddie Shinfuku, 85, of east Sacramento, is mainly interested in Japanese stamps owned by Robert Chang of The Stamp Act of Belmont.
