A man who reportedly fell asleep in the drive-thru line at a South Natomas restaurant Sunday morning was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The man ordered food at the drive thru-window at the restaurant in the 3500 block of Truxel Road about 6 a.m., then fell asleep at the wheel, according to a Sacramento Police Department news release. A restaurant employee woke the driver, who then drove into the parking lot and again fell asleep, with the car running, in neutral and with the parking brake engaged.

Police arrived and contacted the driver, identified as 22-year-old Freddy Oleagaspar. He was booked into Sacramento County jail.
