Rancho Cordova-based American River Bank, has opened a loan production office in Pleasanton, its second such office opening in the Bay Area in less than a year.

ARB said the decision to open the Pleasanton office was based on “positive traction” from a loan office it opened in the Santa Clara County community of Campbell in March last year. The bank also said the new site “was selected for its central location in the East Bay that allows American River Bank to serve businesses along the (Interstate) 680 corridor.”

“We are confident that businesses in the area can benefit from our business banking expertise, small business lending solutions and exceptional client experience,” said Erica Fernandez, a senior vice president and commercial banking manager at ARB.

Art Martinez, a banking industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, has been hired to lead the Pleasanton office as vice president, relationship manager.
