Published: Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 - 4:58 pm

The Butte County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in finding a man who went missing from his Magalia home last week.

Robert Alan Kvidahl (pictured), 49, was reported missing by his family Jan. 2. He was last seen that afternoon and was supposed to be en route to Paradise, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. He has not been seen since. Family members told authorities that Kvidahl was suffering from depression.

Kvidahl is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 265 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes, and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing tan shorts and a black sweatshirt.

His vehicle is described as a gray 1996 Ford Ranger with California license plate 6MZA804.

Anyone with information regarding Kvidahl’s whereabouts is asked to call the Butte County Sheriff’s Office’s felony investigation unit at (530) 538-7671.
