Foster Farms submits plan, aims to reopen Livingston chicken plant

LIVINGSTON -- Foster Farms has submitted its plan for improved pest control at its Livingston plant and could get federal approval to reopen it as soon as today, an industry leader said.

"They hope to open today or this weekend," said Bill Mattos, president of the California Poultry Federation in Modesto.
