The Woodland Library Rose Club hosts this indoor seminar on how to tackle annual pruning, followed by outdoor demonstrations on the library’s rose garden. Local experts will show pruning techniques that produce stronger plants and healthier blooms; what pruning cuts to avoid; and tips on how to prune different rose varieties. Pick up free handouts on rose pruning, winter care and a rose gardener’s calendar.

• MOTHER LODE ROSE PRUNE-A-THON
