TODAY’S GAME

KINGS (12-22) VS. CAVALIERS (13-23)

Time: 3 p.m.

Where: Sleep Train Arena

TV/radio: CSNCA, 1140, 950

THREE KEYS

1. Containing Kyrie: Cleveland point guard Kyrie Irving has to be the focal point of the Kings’ defenders. Irving was an All-Star last season and is averaging 22.1 points and 6.2 assists and could surpass those averages against Sacramento’s shaky defense.

2. Study up: The Cavs are in transition as they adjust to the addition of Luol Deng after last week’s trade with Chicago. Deng figures to make Cleveland better, but the Kings will have to rely on Deng’s track record in Chicago to know his tendencies since Deng has played just a game for the Cavs.

3. Century mark: The Kings have held opponents under 100 points 11 times this season. They are 5-6 in those games. Focusing on defense remains the Kings’ best chance to win.
