Kings game plan vs. Pacers

TONIGHT’S GAME

KINGS (13-22) AT PACERS (29-7)

• Time: 4 p.m.

• Where: Bankers Life Fieldhouse

• TV/radio: CSNCA, NBA, 1140, 950

THREE KEYS

• 1. Tenacious defense: After the Kings’ win Sunday, the whiteboard in their locker room had three numbers: 43, 33, 39. Those were their opponents’ field-goal percentages during their three-game winning streak. The Kings must continue that defensive effort.

• 2. Matchup down low: DeMarcus Cousins was named the Western Conference Player of the Week after averaging 25.0 points a game last week and has a double double in 10 consecutive games. He’ll have to work hard to match that production against Roy Hibbert, Indiana’s rim protector.

• 3. Stay composed: The Pacers suffocate opponents on defense. Even if the Kings miss shots early, players can’t panic and start trying to do it all themselves.
