Pairing wines with film

What: Jessup Cellars is screening four short films and pairing them with wine and wok-popped flavor-infused popcorn at its Tasting Gallery in Yountville. This month the films are “Blueberry, “Shanghai Love Market,” “Bloom” and “6 Years, 4 Months, and 23 Days.” The Art House Short Film Series continues monthly through March.

Hands-on soup stocks class

What: Prepare and preserve vegetable, beef and chicken stocks in a hands-on class. Participants will prepare chicken soup to be eaten in class and can a jar of stock to take home.

Lunch and Wine Social

What: Sip on wines by Heringer Estates from Clarksburg that are paired with Casa Garden Restaurant hors d’eouvres and then stay for lunch at this benefit for Sacramento Children’s Home.
