The Jan. 12 Forum section had three articles on income inequality and its effect on single women and their children: Shriver crusades for women, What really works to close the income gap and the editorial To fight poverty, we need new energy and new ideas. All three articles were essentially looking to the government for solutions. Its time for a more creative solution. Now that we have legalized gay marriage, why not remove all marriage restrictions?
