Ohio execution gets undue coverage

Re “Unusual drug mix prolongs execution” (Page A6, Jan. 17): Too bad that the prolonged execution in Ohio gets so much coverage, but the convicted murderer’s victim is mentioned in only sentence. My guess is that young, pregnant woman killed may have suffered for more than 20 minutes. In addition, the emotional pain must still be felt by her parents, who lost their daughter and a future grandchild, and by her spouse. I would prefer that newspapers print articles about the impacts of criminal behavior on society and report only necessary facts regarding criminals. They do not deserve more attention.
