TODAY’S GAME

KINGS (14-25) AT PELICANS (16-24)

• Time: 5 p.m.

• Where: New Orleans Arena, New Orleans

• TV/radio: CSNCA, 1140, 950

THREE KEYS

• 1. Watch Reke: Tyreke Evans had 25 points, 12 assists and six rebounds coming off the bench Dec. 23 in his first game against the Kings after being traded during the offseason. The Kings must do a better job of keeping Evans out of the lane and forcing him to shoot jump shots.

• 2. Advantage, Cousins: New Orleans, plagued by injuries, and does not have the frontcourt depth to deal with Kings center DeMarcus Cousins. If the Kings feature Cousins in the post, he could have one of his best scoring games of the season.

• 3. Maintain the intensity: The Pelicans are without two of their top scorers – guard Jrue Holiday and forward Ryan Anderson (Oak Ridge High School) – because of injuries. The Kings must take advantage of that.
