Ask Sacto 911 crime Q&A: How do you find arrest logs for unincorporated communities?

Published: Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 - 9:40 pm

What is the link to get to the Granite Bay arrest logs? I used to be able to get it through localcrimenews.com.

– Leslie, Granite Bay

Online links to arrest logs are available at sacbee.com/arrestlogs for the 18 incorporated cities in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo counties.

To find arrest logs for unincorporated communities, go to the bottom of the cities list and click on the LocalCrimeNews.com link. On the LocalCrimeNews.com website, enter the name of the unincorporated community – such as Granite Bay, Newcastle, Carmichael, Rio Linda, North Highlands, El Dorado Hills – in the “Find your city” box and click “search.” Then click on the name of the community when it appears below the search box.

Ken Kiunke of LocalCrimeNews.com, which provides the arrest log information, said a search typically will call up a list of the 20 most recent arrests in that community.
