Re "9th Circuit bans exclusion of jurors based on sexuality" (Capitol & California, Jan. 22): It's great to see that the United States is finally settling down with the idea that people are who they are. Some people should realize that you can't hold back your feelings for another person. The gay juror should not have been taken off the case in the first place. A gay juror is able to make his own logical decisions, just like anyone else. But the Abbott Laboratories lawyer could not make the logical decision to not discriminate against the juror.
