The Consulate General of Mexico and California Student Aid Commission will host the event at the consulate office in Natomas, 2093 Arena Blvd., for the third year in a row. Students will be able to apply on-site for Cal Grants, California Dream Act financial aid and, if eligible, federal financial aid. Immigration attorneys, bilingual college counselors and other qualified personnel will be available to answer questions throughout the day.

The free event begins at 8 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m.. Two rounds of buses will transport students to and form bilingual college tours at Sacramento State University and UC Davis, who is a major sponsor of the event. Food trucks and mariachi entertainment will be on site for lunch. Students can register online at or at the event.
