Patrick Mitchell and G. Braiden Chadwick, two partners comprising the Land Use, Oil/Gas and Mining group of the Sacramento-based law firm of Downey Brand LLP, have left the firm to form a land-use boutique law firm.
The new firm, Mitchell Chadwick LLP, will operate at 3001 Lava Ridge Court, suite 120, in Roseville, with multiple associates already on board. The new firm said six attorneys previously worked with Downey Brand’s land-use practice.
Mitchell focuses on mining, land use and environmental issues, and his clients include multinational and national mining companies. Chadwick is an expert on mitigation/conservation banking and represents multinational oil/gas and mining companies, residential and commercial developers. He also represents agricultural entities, ski resorts and residential developers.
