The Winter Olympics continue in Sochi with speedskating and ice hockey scheduled for today.

In a milestone for LGBT rights, college football star and top NFL prospect Michael Sam has come out as gay. The defensive player for the University of Missouri is expected to be a top pick in the 2014 NFL draft, and could become the first openly gay football player in league history. And finally, Mark Zuckerberg and his wife are the Most Charitable Americans, according to a list put out by the Chronicle of Philanthropy early this morning. The Facebook CEO and his wife donated more than $970 million dollars worth of company stock to a silicon valley nonprofit last year, putting him at the top of the Center’s list.
