What: This series of cooking classes is for children 5 to 8 years old. This month’s class, Winter Garden Party, includes chicken or garden pot pies, a crunchy side salad and lemony parfaits.

What: West Shore Cafe and Inn exploits its prime-moon viewing location by adding live music for those dining or enjoying a cocktail at its Winter Full Moon Rising Parties. Reservations are recommended to ensure a table during the moonrise.
