Re "Glut of housing projects in region" (Page A1, Feb. 12): Here come greedy developers ignoring the drought with plans to pave over our remaining green fields with unneeded homes, with absolutely no regard for the shortage of water in our region.
Climate change is a reality and droughts can be counted on to occur, as can water grabs by the rest of California. Where are all of these yards and toilets going to get the water they will need?
The idea of mini-farms is cute, but how will they be irrigated? Groundwater wells? Metered pipes? Inquiring minds want to know.
