Wireless service that allows donations to charities comes to Sacramento

Chicago-based GIV Mobile, a no-contract mobile phone service launched last year with the promise to donate 8 percent of monthly bill to designated charities, says it has extended its service to Sacramento.

Nonprofit charities benefiting from the GIV Mobile program include the Alzheimer’s Association, the Kids In Need Foundation, American Red Cross, Scholarship America, The Conservation Fund and United Way Worldwide.

GIV Mobile utilizes the 4G network of T-Mobile USA Inc.
