This is closing week of a yearlong tribute to Sacramento’s own Ray Eames in celebration of the 100th anniversary of her birth. With husband Charles Eames, Ray changed the world of design forever. The couple are well known for their mid-century innovations in modern architecture, furniture, films, toys, photography, textiles, exhibition design and more, but this is the first exhibit to focus on Ray’s early life in Sacramento. More than 100 original works and rarely seen artifacts are part of this exceptional exhibit.
