Here's a motto for the drought

Re "$687 million tagged for drought aid" (Page A1, Feb. 20): By far the largest percentage of indoor water use in the United States occurs in the bathroom, with 41 percent on average used for toilet flushing. California's new water shortage motto should be "If it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down."
