Footwear retailer Skechers and specialty party merchandise chain Party City are coming to the Citrus Town Center shopping complex in Citrus Heights.
Sacramento-based property manager Inter-Cal Real Estate Corp. said the two leases encompass more than 20,000 square feet of space, and both are expected to complete build out and open this summer.
Manhattan Beach-based Skechers USA Inc. oversees a billion-dollar-plus international footwear enterprise, including development, marketing and distribution of products for men, women, and children. It has more than 3,000 styles. Net sales in last year’s fourth quarter were $450.7 million, up from $395.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2012. Its Citrus Town Center store will open in 9,000 square feet.
Party City, based in New Jersey and the largest party goods retailer in the nation, operates more than 800 company-owned and franchise stores throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Its Citrus Town Center store will take up 11,700 square feet.
“We took the time to sign the right tenants which complement existing businesses in Citrus Town Center. Skechers and Party City are leaders in their industry,” said Jason Bollinger, the center’s asset manager.
Citrus Town Center at Sunrise Boulevard and Greenback Lane completed a $4 million dollar remodel two years ago. With the upcoming summer additions, the center will be at 97 percent capacity.
