"If it wasn't for Toinette Sledge (the manager) we wouldn't all be here today," said Chris Greene who used to work for the Hallmark company. He came with wife Susan and other son JJ from Stockton to say good-bye as the Hallmark store closed inside the Country Club Plaza mall. "Hallmark brought us together," said Susan his wife.
